Summary

Is it possible。。。
That there exists an ancient mystery that holds the secret of America's future?
That this mystery lies behind everything from 9/11 to the collapse of the global economy?
That ancient harbingers of judgment are now manifesting in America?
That God is sending America a prophetic message of what is yet to come?

Before its end as a nation, there appeared in ancient Israel nine specific warnings and omens of national destruction – These same nine Harbingers are now manifesting in America with profound ramifications for America’s future and end-time prophecy。

Hidden in an ancient biblical prophecy from Isaiah, the mysteries revealed in The Harbinger are so precise that they foretell recent American events down to the exact days… the 3,000-year-old mystery that revealed the exact date of the stock market collapse of 2008… the ancient prophecy that was proclaimed from the floor of the US Senate and then came true…and more。 The revelations are so specific that even the most hardened skeptic will find it hard to put down。 Though it sounds like the plot of a Hollywood thriller – IT’S REAL。

The prophetic mysteries are factual but revealed through a riveting narrative the reader will find hard to put down。 The Harbinger opens with the appearance of a man burdened with a message he has received from a mysterious figure called The Prophet。 The Prophet has given him nine seals, each containing a message about America s future。 As he tells of his encounters with the Prophet, from a skyscraper in New York City, to a rural mountaintop, to Capitol Hill, to Ground Zero, the mystery behind each seal is revealed。 As the story unfolds, each revelation becomes another piece in a larger and larger puzzle, the ramifications of which are, even now, altering the course of America and the world。

This was a very profound and powerful book。 My mind is still reeling from it and yet I know it’s all true。 Will be reading this authors other books as well

Up to about a week ago, I hadn't really heard of this author before。 Then his new book came out--Return of the Gods (made me think of American Gods by Neil Gaiman)-- and they started selling a bunch of the new book at a bookstore。 Someone told me he ranked this author as high as C S Lewis and that Jonathan Cahn was his favorite author。 I asked him what he liked about the author, and he said that the author connects scripture with current events。 Then he recommended to me one of Cahn's earlier bo Up to about a week ago, I hadn't really heard of this author before。 Then his new book came out--Return of the Gods (made me think of American Gods by Neil Gaiman)-- and they started selling a bunch of the new book at a bookstore。 Someone told me he ranked this author as high as C S Lewis and that Jonathan Cahn was his favorite author。 I asked him what he liked about the author, and he said that the author connects scripture with current events。 Then he recommended to me one of Cahn's earlier books, the Harbinger。 So I said I'd check it out。While the author doesn't come right out and say that America is the new Israel in those words, he's making all sorts of connections between prophecies in the Old Testament which are about Israel, and current American events。 It is possible a prophecy can be fulfilled in different ways throughout history with echoes of itself, and he makes that argument very convincing through striking details that seem like more than coincidence。 The main point is that America needs to return to God and follow God instead of following other gods or else America will fall。 Which, I mean, I agree。But this book was written in a format that was repetitive and cumbersome, meant to be very consumable and easy to digest for people who will believe what is told to them without critical thinking。 Written as fiction to gain more readers, but it's hardly got any plot, just dialogue the whole book。 The fiction helps the credibility of it--"I know this sounds crazy, but listen anyway。"Ended up skimming most of it。He does make some interesting and valid connections, and he seems a lot more sane than other self-proclaimed prophets because he's sticking to commenting on what already is and deducing the future based on what happened in history--know history so you don't repeat it, sort of thing。I understand why the older generation of Christians likes his writing--it is engaging and interesting when it isn't repetitive。It was okay。 I'm curious about his other books and might get into them。 Not on the same level of Lewis at all, but I get where the person who recommended it to me was coming from。 I do think Jonathan Cahn has some important things to say, and I'm glad some people are listening。 。。。more

Wonderful! I listened to this title on Audible, and did not want to stop! It’s thoughtfully written and researched。 It is heavily enlightening; and it caused me to make some great changes in my life。

This book was amazing。 Everyone in America should read this

Maybe this could have been interesting and maybe I would have even learned something form it (though it sounds to me from the general synopsis and reviews that the Biblical interpretation for most of it is pretty overstretched), but about 15 minutes in I was so annoyed by the repetitive, back-and-forth dialog that I just could not do it anymore。 One of the worst written starts to a book I have ever encountered, and from the reviews it sounds like the whole book is that way。

The back and forth dialogue between Nouriel and the prophet is a little annoying and sometimes boring。 But overall the message is interesting and it's clear alot of research went into the writing of this book。 All the events mentioned are factual。 The back and forth dialogue between Nouriel and the prophet is a little annoying and sometimes boring。 But overall the message is interesting and it's clear alot of research went into the writing of this book。 All the events mentioned are factual。 。。。more

Very InformativeI have wanted to read The Harbinger since it's release。 Recommended by a trusted friend so glad I read it now especially after the pandemic。 The events it speaks of that happened in the past it's now started making since to me。I highly respect Jonathan Cahn as a prophet and a man of God full of the Holy Spirit。 Very InformativeI have wanted to read The Harbinger since it's release。 Recommended by a trusted friend so glad I read it now especially after the pandemic。 The events it speaks of that happened in the past it's now started making since to me。I highly respect Jonathan Cahn as a prophet and a man of God full of the Holy Spirit。 。。。more

DNF but I’m so confused - I thought this was a novel but now I’m doubting…? Right before the book begins the author states:What you are about to read is presented in the form of a story, but what is contained within the story is real。First of all, this is not a story。 There is no narrative。 This is a script comprised ENTIRELY of dialogue。 After a few chapters I got tired of the stale dialogue and flipped through the book to find the entire book kept up the same structure。 I’m not even joking - i DNF but I’m so confused - I thought this was a novel but now I’m doubting…? This。is。not。a。story。I give it a star and not zero based on the fact that there is supposedly some interesting real info contained in the book, but I don’t have the patience to wade though stupid dialogue completely devoid of a story to get to information。 Just lemme read an encyclopedia article or some non fiction book about it。 Imma end this review in the same style of this book。 “It’s over。” I said。 “The end” 。。。more

A must read I highly recommend this book to be read by everyone。 It tells a story of what’s happened and why its happened and how its tied to the Bible。 God is giving us all a warning its time to wake up。

A fascinating story linking 9/11 with Isaiah 9 prophecy。 It seems impossible but the quotes given can be checked and show its true。

I am giving it 4 stars because I didn't really like the writing style。 I feel like a lot of it was repetitive and that was frustrating。 I also have yet to dive into my own research to confirm the connections。 With that said, if the connections stand true this is monumental。 It's also incredibly satisfying seeing everything line up and connect so perfectly。 It felt a lot like my first time watching The Davinci Code。 I would say that those who are interested in reading prophetic books this one is I am giving it 4 stars because I didn't really like the writing style。 I feel like a lot of it was repetitive and that was frustrating。 I also have yet to dive into my own research to confirm the connections。 With that said, if the connections stand true this is monumental。 It's also incredibly satisfying seeing everything line up and connect so perfectly。 It felt a lot like my first time watching The Davinci Code。 I would say that those who are interested in reading prophetic books this one is a MUST。 。。。more

Terrible。 Got through chapter 5 and had to quit。 I should have guessed with it being a "christian" best seller。 It's exactly what sells。 Drivel。 A storyline that tickles the ears but offers so substance and half truths。 Not only was the information he was attempting to present a complete stretch, but he wrote it in an annoying, poorly written novel form with a "prophet" character presenting all his theories about America being like Israel and the 9/11 terrorists being like the ancient Assyrians Terrible。 Got through chapter 5 and had to quit。 I should have guessed with it being a "christian" best seller。 It's exactly what sells。 Drivel。 A storyline that tickles the ears but offers so substance and half truths。 Not only was the information he was attempting to present a complete stretch, but he wrote it in an annoying, poorly written novel form with a "prophet" character presenting all his theories about America being like Israel and the 9/11 terrorists being like the ancient Assyrians and the event being a harbinger of things to come if the nation doesn't turn back to God。 First of all, if you've researched 9/11 at all you know the nonsense propaganda they told us was a complete lie。 Ha。 But I digress。 Do I believe America needs to turn to God? 4。5 stars! This is fiction but it’s not。 An interpretation of the timeline from 9/11 to the fall of the economy in 2008 and how they are connected。 The information is all real but the setting and characters are fiction。 I loved the connection to Biblical prophecies in this。 Isaiah 9:10 prophecy coming true in modern times。

This is the second time I've started this book。 This time I finished it。 I understand what the author did, and why he did it because it's the reason I decided to try to write fiction。 However, no matter how interesting the information and theories are - I was less than impressed by the story structure - effectively a series of lectures given by one character to another。 I'm tempted to explore the subject further to find out whether some of the claims are true but I wouldn't say that the book is This is the second time I've started this book。 This time I finished it。 I understand what the author did, and why he did it because it's the reason I decided to try to write fiction。 However, no matter how interesting the information and theories are - I was less than impressed by the story structure - effectively a series of lectures given by one character to another。 I'm tempted to explore the subject further to find out whether some of the claims are true but I wouldn't say that the book is a novel - and I feel tricked that it is presented in a fictionalized setting。 。。。more

have so many books on my shelves to read - but finally picked this one up - it is especially riveting because of living in New York & knowing about all of the events that has happened here - and that it does bear truth - as it is pretty easy to check out all of the facts presented。。。 I think - no, I WANT to make a good choice in living my life。。。and as I have seen our country crumble around its ears over the years 。。。perhaps those who read it would also make a good choice。。。
